Eve Mungai's New YouTube Channel; Eclipsed 11K Subscribers

On Saturday, March 2-Hours after formally announcing the opening of her standalone YouTube channel, Mungai Eve Media, Kenyan YouTube veteran and content creator Eve Mungai revealed her happiness.

Even though she said in the caption of a video post of herself thanking her Instagram followers for their support that she had already accumulated over 10,000 subscribers, KEnews254 through its casual inspection random checks shows that she had topped 11,000 subscribers.

Though she indicated that she had already clocked more than 10,000 subscribers in a caption to a video of her appreciating her fans for the support via Instagram, spot checks by Viral Tea can reveal that she had eclipsed the 11,000 subscribers mark.

The recently established channel had gained nearly 12,000 subscribers at the time of going to press in just two videos—both of which included controversial media personality Andrew Kibe, who served as the guest for the first time on the channel—posted online.

Mungai Eve thanked God for guiding her to her current position and the Mungai Eve Media team and supporters for their unwavering support from the beginning.

He further said that Mungai Eve Meda was going to create more content to inspire the supporters as well as empower them to make a huge difference in their lives.

This occurred just hours after she made public a statement outlining the goals of the redesigned Mungai Eve, which included inspiring themes, real-life stories, and a positive influence on people’s lives.

The statement was a major turning point in Mungai’s life, in 4 years rose from the COVID-19 pandemic to become one of the most popular Kenyan online TV and YouTube personalities.

With Trevor taking over the former joint channel and rebranding it as Kenya Online Media (KOM), the break from Trevor raised a lot of questions about the future of Mungai Eve Media.

The media outlet had earlier revealed that, after her personal and professional breakup with Trevor, Mungai was thinking of going solo on her YouTube career.

Shortly after Mungai made her announcement, Trevor wished Mungai Eve luck in her new voyage on his Instagram stories, writing, “From Kenya Online Media (KOM).”

Following Trevor’s decision to sever all ties with Mungai, a debate broke out. Some claimed that Mungai would lose the most because the producer, renowned for his exceptional work in digital video production, had gathered the following and popularity when she co-owned the YouTube channel in addition to social media audiences on Facebook and Instagram.

Some, however, thought Trevor would get better at what he did because he was the main force behind Mungai’s success. She started her channel because Trevor was also her photographer and director.
