Jimmy Mbogo & Jasmine Wambui joins Royal Media Services (Citizen TV) team From KTN
After leaving KTN News, two news anchors joins Royal Media Services (RMS). The media outlet’s internal memo disclosed Jimmy Mbogo and Jasmine Wambui’s additions to the team.
Jimmy and Jasmine will be joining Citizen TV’s business desk, as per an internal memo, though the two’s scheduled on-air debut date was not disclosed.
The memo read in part, “Team, please extend a warm welcome to Jasmine Wambui and Jimmy Mbogo. They’ve joined the business desk and will be instrumental in supporting us across TV, radio, Web, and digital platforms.”

This is happening hardly a week after Jimmy left his position at KTN. In an emotional farewell message to his followers, the business reporter/news anchor said that his year at the media outlet has been rewarding.
Mbogo expressed his gratitude to his top managers for allowing him to share stories in one of Kenya’s biggest media outlets, as well as to his coworkers and friends for their support during the year.
In addition to his time at KTN, he has held positions at K24, Kenyan Wall Street, and Nation Media Group.
Inside Jasmine Wambui’s life as a Reporter
Wambui, on the other hand, has been a reporter and business anchor for KTN for two years and two months. She spent a year working as a multimedia journalist at KTN.
Before working for Standard Media Group, Wambui covered news for Citizen TV. Wambui additionally reported on and covered Viusasa News segments.
Following her graduation from Daystar University with a degree in communication and media studies, Wambui worked as a news anchor at Shine FM.
She is currently enrolled at Yale University, pursuing a course on financial markets.
